WINTER STORAGE 2011/2012
Come in to drop off your bike any day we’re open, appointments are not required.
A $200.00 deposit is required, balance is payable in the spring of 2012.
Storage cost is $50.00 per month (minimum 3 months) for each motorcycle
(calculated weekly). Storage cost is $75.00 per month for trikes/sidecars.
Allow a few minutes for visual inspection and work order write up.
Winterize and de-winterize are $45.00 each. (half an hour)
Winterize includes:
-drain fuel tank and/or carburetor
-removal of battery and charging it over the winter
-pump up tires to avoid flat spots
-check tires and brakes
-transport bike to storage facility
De-winterize includes:
- bring bike back from storage facility
- add 1/3 tank of fresh fuel
- re-install charged battery
- set tire pressures and check engine oil level
- short test ride and wash bike
Storage does not include an oil change although adding maintenance can reduce your storage costs.
Storage costs can be reduced on HD motorcycles by having work done over the winter.
For each $200.00 worth of parts/accessories/labour at retail (before tax) you will receive 1 month of storage at no charge. Sublet work, chroming and Motorclothes do not reduce storage costs.
For example: $800.00 of work before tax is 4 months of free storage.
To qualify for reduced storage costs, work must be requested before Dec 31 2011.
A statement will be mailed on completion of work. Larger bills may require additional deposits. You may bring in deposits over the winter to reduce spring pick up cost.
We require 7-10 days notice for pick up so that we have time to schedule the return and
de-winterizing of the bike. Deposits may be in check form, but final payments when you pick up your bike must be Direct Debit/Visa/MasterCard/American Express or Cash. Please bring in bikes with as little fuel as possible. The warehouse is secure, heated, alarmed and has restricted access.
Please keep your insurance on your bike. We also offer long-term storage.
